Life of Chelsea Francois

Dear Black People..

I want to extend my deepest condolences on behalf of the recent killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd . We must say their names, know their stories, and ensure it does not happen again.  I've been trying to find words for this post that would jump off of the screen to hug and provide my people with the love they are missing after the few weeks we have had. While I am aware that this one post will not and can not heal the immense amount of hurt, I do hope it changes how we see and feel about ourselves in these times. There is no need to change who I am because I am enough and worthy. I am learning to advocate for myself effectively. I give myself permission to feel my feelings. To cry and experience sorrow or to laugh and experience joy. I will allow myself to change, grow and applaud my progress. God made no mistakes with me, everything about me embodies God's artwork.  I deserve to be respected and treated fairly. I will defend my brothers and sisters. I
